One of the last models to utilize the 7002 movement prior to the launch of the 7S26, this Sports 50 variant saw a very short production, and is in short supply. We’re betting this one is likely the first you’ve ever seen. It was available in two color ways, the more common white dial, and the even lesser seen black version. It’s 90’s styling is undeniable. The case has mixed finishes with sloping flairs along the edges, and a fixed 24 hour bezel. Though the crown does not screw down, it is well protected and sits almost completely recessed behind the  large crown guards. The dial, without a doubt, gets all the attention here. It’s a glossy black with pounds of perfectly aged luminous. Large plots mark the hours along the silver minute track, as well as the crisp Arabics in a clear bold font. The hands are luminous swords with a slim frame trimmed in white, and the arrow head sweep is a bright white as well. The time can easily be read in standard or military time, and the date sits in a framed window at the three o’clock position. The case back screws down, and the case itself is unpolished with the original finishes still quite intact. It is completely original aside from the nearly impossible to find replacement crystal, and post service the 7002 is keeping near perfect time. We’ve paired it with a rust colored RAF NATO in keeping with its casual military aesthetic, and contrasts perfectly against the dial. We’re betting this will likely be your only shot at this mid 90’s relic, so get it while you can.
